Frank Leuthold, after getting kicked out of CU for blocking the entrance to the CIA recruiting office in protest to the Vietnam war, started sandblasting in the early 70's.

Frank started to sandblast engrave in the 80's.  Many stone and concrete engravings for signs, parks, and playgrounds in Boulder county in the next 3 decades were his creation.

His son Damian continues this tradition today!
